American Barcode and RFID Inc. evolves as technology and client needs expand.

Phoenix, Arizona, September 3, 2014 – American Barcode and RFID Inc.(AB&R), a nationwide provider of proven supply chain solutions, announced today the company’s name change to AB&R. AB&R’s name change reflects the company’s expansion of their expertise beyond barcoding and RFID technology. AB&R continues to be a leading solutions integrator by adding services and solutions to better serve the changing business needs of their clients.

“Adjusting our name to AB&R is our way of transitioning the company to align with the transformation of technology,” said Mike Stryzcek, Chief Executive Officer. “Since 1980, our organization has seen many innovations in technology and we’ve moved from barcoding and radio frequency identification technology specialists to an organization that provides our clients comprehensive and proven solutions that drive efficiency and productivity in the supply chain.”

AB&R’s client business needs have evolved to a much more active role in the services and support that they require to make a solution successful.  Those services include managed print services, mobile device management, wireless network infrastructure, and overall management of all the components crucial to their IT integration.
